Camaro/Firebird Nickey Traction Bar

Now available for the first time since 1973!

Patterned after the actual originals that became available in the fall of 1966, these traction bars were standard equipment on 1967, 1968, & 1969 Nickey® 427 Camaro stage 1, 2, &3 models. The design and appearance mirrors the original Nickey® traction bars for 67-69 Camaro equipped with Mono and Multi leaf suspension. Nickey® traction bars were specifically designed to eliminate wheel hop and improve traction. These bars are period correct for authentic 67-69 Camaro day 2 restorations and recreations.

Nickey® traction bar features:

-Built on brand new tooling based on the original 1967 Nickey® design.
-Tig welded utilizing a state of the art jig for precise tolerances and fit.
-Water jet precision cut 3/8” thick carbon steel structural beams.
-Powder coated gloss black for long life and period perfect appearance.
-Grade 5 – 3/8 inch Zinc coated bolts, Nyloc nuts and flat washers.
-Easy bolt on with no modifications required.
